With the help of ChatGPT, Omniscience crafts domain-specific content by leveraging context from user-uploaded documents, books, websites, and PDFs.

This tool solves the limitations of existing AI writers by addressing two key issues: generic content and lack of access to user knowledge.

By generating text with context from user uploads, Omniscience produces nuanced and tailored writing that is specific to the user's domain and is augmented with their own knowledge or their team's datasets.

Omniscience offers several features to enhance the research and writing process.

Firstly, it has an extension that proactively surfaces relevant information from various sources like documents, books, favorite websites, Zoom transcriptions, and Notion docs.

This information is displayed directly in the user's work environment, eliminating the need for opening new tabs or distractions.

Additionally, Omniscience allows users to pull insights from their team's work, making their teammates' knowledge instantly accessible.

It also helps eliminate redundant work by showing past work that should be built upon, reducing time wasted on reinventing the wheel.

Moreover, Omniscience streamlines the process of citing sources by instantly providing relevant citations and sources for any selected claim.

The tool can import documents from various sources including Google Drive, Word, Notion, Evernote, and more.

Overall, Omniscience is a valuable tool for writers and researchers looking to enhance their workflow, improve content quality, and save time in the writing process by leveraging AI capabilities and their own knowledge.
